The paintings you can view below are all recent creations from the past year or so, each one lovingly painted in my home studio nestled in the tranquil countryside of rural Somerset.

My work is created from spontaneous and intuitive applications of acrylic paint, using fluid brushstrokes to apply paint and various scraping tools to remove paint revealing the previous layers. Lines and drawings are created by oil pastel and pencil and a small amount of collage is employed on some works to achieve different effects and textures.

All work is sealed with a coat of acrylic gloss medium and some have also a cold wax finish.

All paintings are sold ready to hang.

Most are painted on wooden board or cradled panels, some larger work is on canvas. My plan is to work on larger canvasses in the future, some already started. I love the more immersive experience of larger work and it allows me to be more physical and expressive…and messy!
